AI will become more capable. Capability alone is not the goal.

KPC wants to explore how the values that guide the YPO community can help guide the intelligent systems we build: Generosity, Respect, Inclusivity and Trust.

This is an ambition and a field of work, not a claim that the problem of AI ethics is solved. We want to develop it openly, with human judgement, diverse perspectives and real-world learning.

From human values to intelligent systems

What could these values mean for AI?

Generosity: expand what people can do.Use intelligence to share useful knowledge, surface possibilities and increase people's ability to act, not simply accumulate information.
Respect: respect people and their choices.Protect dignity, privacy and agency. Keep meaningful decisions accountable to people rather than quietly handing them to systems.
Inclusivity: seek more than one perspective.Build systems that look beyond the obvious answer, include different contexts and remain open to challenge, difference and learning.
Trust: earn confidence through responsibility.Be clear about what AI knows, what it does not know, how information is used and where human oversight and confidentiality matter.
A fifth idea: good intention must become good practice

AI discovers. People judge. YPO connects. Humans remain responsible for what happens next.

KPC's purpose gives the intelligence a direction: understand problems, find capabilities, connect people and help turn knowledge into action. But intention is only meaningful when it is supported by safeguards, transparency, accountability and human control.
